The Wiscasset Rod & Gun Club promotes receational fishing and shooting sports and offers paid members and guests a variety of shooting ranges and training programs to foster firearms safety and to maintain and improve individual shooting skills. Our membership stocks local streams with fish, donates to local charitable causes, and is open to anyone. We sponsor a number of events to promote sport fishing and shooting.

We meet at 7:00 p.m. the third Thursday of every month in our Route 27 clubhouse. Prospective members are welcome to attend any meeting.

We maintain four shooting ranges:

100-yard rifle and pistol

50-yard rifle and pistol

50-foot pistol and .22-caliber, rimfire rifle

50-yard clay bird shotgun/trap

WRAGC offers our facilities to local police and security agencies for needed firearms qualifications. Some ranges may be periodically reserved for qualification use – please check the calendar for open dates.
